My Bottle Collection was created by Owen Brodal-Robertson, from a simple wish: to store and view his whisky collection online.
Why it began
I wanted somewhere to keep my collection of whiskies: a place to see what I owned, keep track of each bottle, and look back on the pours and stories that made it special. I couldn’t find an existing product that suited what I wanted, so I decided to create my own.
That idea became My Bottle Collection. It brings the collection together online, with bottle details, photos, tasting notes and ways to share a look inside the cabinet.
My designs, brought to life with AI
I designed the app around the way I wanted to manage and enjoy my collection, using ChatGPT and OpenAI tools to help implement those designs. From the website to the ChatGPT connection, the app grew through an ongoing process of ideas, building, testing and refinement.
