How to request deletion

1. Email support@mybottlecollection.com with the subject Data deletion request. Send it from your registered email address where possible.
2. Say whether you want to remove your entire account, particular records/photos, or only a Google/Facebook login association and its associated provider information. Include the name and email used for the account. If you no longer have access to that email, say so.
3. We will verify ownership, clarify the scope and handle the request manually. We will reply with next steps and confirm the outcome, including any records that must be retained and why.

Do not email passwords, provider secrets, access tokens, identity documents or verification links unless a specific, appropriate identity-check process has been agreed.

Facebook and Google sign-in

To request removal of Facebook-related data, explicitly ask us to remove your Facebook login association and associated provider information. Use the same process for Google. Tell us if you also want the wider My Bottle Collection account deleted.

You may also remove My Bottle Collection from the connected apps in your Facebook or Google account settings to stop future provider authorization. That action alone does not delete information already stored here. Removing your only sign-in method could prevent access, so arrange another way to sign in if keeping the account.

What happens to your records

We assess account details, login associations, memberships, photos, collection content and connection grants within the requested scope. Shared cabinets may contain other people’s records or history; we will clarify ownership and whether deletion, anonymisation or a transfer is appropriate. We may retain limited information for security, legal obligations or disputes and will explain any exception.

Backups are retained for two days, so removed live information may remain in earlier backups until the rotation expires. Deletion here cannot remove saved copies held by other people or conversations held by ChatGPT; requests to those services must be made separately.
